Job Summary:

The A&P mechanic will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, overhaul and troubleshooting of airframes, engines parts, & components. They will be responsible for performing, 100 hour and progressive inspections as well as modification work on Textron Aviation products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts airframe, engines, component and system checks.
• Performs install of SB’s, kits on airframe and engines.
• Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent FAA A&P Certification
• 5+ yrs of A&P experience required
• 10+ yrs of A&P experience highly preferred
• Use of arithmetic, blueprints, specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge
• Turbo-prop experience preferably with King Air model experience
