Position Overview

As Parts Manager , you will oversee all aspects of the parts department , ensuring efficient inventory management, profitability, and top-tier customer service. You will lead a team of parts professionals and work closely with the service and sales departments to support dealership operations and meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage parts inventory levels , ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to optimize pricing and availability.
  • Supervise and train parts department staff to maximize efficiency and customer service.
  • Work closely with service and sales teams to meet department needs.
  • Implement effective stocking strategies to reduce obsolescence and improve turnover rates.
  • Ensure a smooth and timely parts ordering process for internal and retail customers.
  • Monitor and optimize parts department financial performance to meet dealership goals.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer programs and dealership policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service , ensuring a seamless experience for technicians and retail customers.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Parts Manager or senior leadership role in an automotive dealership.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on efficiency and service.
Deep understanding of parts inventory management, ordering processes, and vendor relations.
Ability to analyze and improve department financials , including gross profit and inventory control.
Proficiency in dealership management software and parts catalog systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills , with attention to detail.
Commitment to maintaining a well-organized and high-performing parts department.
