Automotive Dealership Controller – Northern Virginia Area Join Our Team as an Automotive Dealership Controller! Are you an experienced Automotive Dealership Controller looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a results-driven financial leader to oversee our dealership's finance and accounting operations. • Must have 3 years of recent Automotive Controller experience at a franchised dealer
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reynolds and Reynolds's experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting activity and financial positions in areas such as income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and projected operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Oversee the financial accounting processes, including the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Manage operational accounting processes, including receivables, payment processing, and accounts payable.
• Oversee the accounting and consolidation systems.
• Coordinate and manage the account reconciliation process.
• Monitor compliance with evolving accounting standards.
• Maintain effective controls over the location's accounting processes.
