Job Description (responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following):

  • Manage all aspects of the dealership's office activities, including accounting, collections, payroll, inventories, titling, etc.
  • Review staff's day-to-day activities to ensure responsibilities are being met and goals achieved.
  • Ensure all the above duties are performed promptly, accurately, ethically, and professionally.
  • Review schedules and required reporting (sales tax, payroll) are done accurately and timely.
  • Communicate with management issues as they arise.
  • Perform end-of-month duties along with submission of financial statements on time.
  • Confirm state and manufacturer compliance with all accounting and reporting functions.
  • Have a strong understanding of the store's balance sheet accounts and company processes
  • Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Dealership Controller or Office Manager
  • CDK (preferred) and/or Reynolds & Reynolds experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
