Job Description This role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. Must have NY Appraiser License This role is territory specific and the ideal candidate will be located in or near the greater Rockland or Westchester Counties. *NY Apprasier License is Required* Key Responsibilities

• Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
• Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits

Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience • 2 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation Compensation offered for this role is $24.04 - 34.26 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications. At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
