Overview:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our electrical construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality commercial and institutional electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, and project documentation
• Track project schedules, budgets, and labor resources in collaboration with field teams
• Help manage subcontractor and vendor communications
• Maintain and organize project files, logs, and documentation using Procore or similar platforms
• Attend coordination and OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and project specifications

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in electrical or general contracting (internship or field experience a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiar with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
• Effective communicator with both office and field personnel

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to commercial, healthcare, or public works projects
• Understanding of NEC and San Francisco building codes
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
