Job Title: General Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Candidates will be performing the first assembly of high-end office furniture. Job duties include using various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products. Candidates must be able to operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, hand and power tools, and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform first assembly of high-end office furniture
• Use various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products
• Operate table saws, band saws, and miter saws
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Ensure quality and precision in assembly tasks
• Conduct inspections of assembled products
• Prepare items for painting and use spray guns for industrial painting

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures and blueprints
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
• Experience with table saws, band saws, and miter saws

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, cabinetry, finish carpentry, trim carpentry, and woodworking
• Experience with custom cabinetry and millwork
• 6+ months of machine operation experience (preferred but not required)

Newly built Milling department with excellent ventilation and lighting. Equipped with new tools and equipment. The manufacturing process is highly organized. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses (provided), and hearing protection (provided). Employees can wear jeans or shorts during the summer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
