We are solving a top cited pain point from finance teams, which is that the process of getting the answers they need about their finances is tediously slow. We do so by automating all of the accounting for our users, which not only eliminates painful manual work, but also lets us build up a well-architected financial system of record that provides users clarity in previously opaque areas. We are the full financial source of truth for our users today, and can do in seconds what takes our competitors weeks.
We are a tight-knit team of 9, working in-person in downtown San Francisco.
Our team has spent our careers at the intersection of finance and technology. Between all of us, weve built accounting systems at Affirm, ledgers at Stripe, built previous companies from the ground up, built finance teams from one to dozens, and passed CPA exams in multiple states and countries.
Were looking for an AI engineer who will develop category-defining AI products that can leverage the entirety of business financial data in order to automate work that has always been manual for finance teams. As an early engineer, you will also shape our culture, team, and product strategy.
The qualifications were looking for:
A software engineer who is able to execute autonomously on day 1
Experience building products using ML technologies, embeddings, and/or LLMs
Drive to deeply understand users to build whats best for them
Enjoyment of doing product work and defining your own requirements
Ownership mentality across the whole business; dont need permission to leave things better than you found them
Ability to focus on what matters most in order to ship fast
Excited about working in-person with a collaborative team in our San Francisco office
Excited about the level of intensity and hard work required by an early-stage company
