Responsibilities

• The Activities Assistant implements a wide array of programming for residents in our community and helps keep our residents engaged.
• Must be flexible with offering support in other departments within the community as needed. Completes required paperwork.
• Provides support to our Navigation Club Director to offer engaging life enrichment programs and experiences to a select group of residents with mild memory loss.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and outgoing person who is able to work independently. Must be dependable, reliable and highly motivated.
• Must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and leadership abilities.
• Some computer knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
• Experience working and interacting with families in a customer based Senior Living environment.
• Experience working in Senior Living preferred.
• Music, theatre or exercise instruction skills a plus.
• Must be willing to transport/escort residents on community trips.
• Operating a large van a plus.
