Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in Seattle, WA. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is fully onsite. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of AP experience and be able to work with others well. This position will be offered growth in the department and will be eligible for promotion if they are looking to move up in the accounting team. The office is in south Seattle, WA and there is free parking.
Responsibilities:
· Process invoices into AP system and ensure timely payments
· Assist with month-end closing procedures
· Review all invoices prior to payment
· Compile and maintain AP records, including filing and copying
· Obtain signatures on all AP checks and distribute checks as required
· Respond to vendor inquiries
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Intermediate Excel and MS Office Suite skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
