FinanceTeams is seeking qualified accountants with several years of experience working for an accounting agency and advanced knowledge of English.
The role involves supporting partner companies in Western Europe in meeting the accounting and reporting requirements of their clients. The work is carried out from our offices in Sarajevo or Tirana and may involve occasional travel to partner or client offices.
FinanceTeams welcomes applicants at all levels of experience, from junior to senior accountants. Assignments will be based on the individual's experience and potential.
Responsibilities:
- Processing financial transactions (bank statements and invoices)
- Maintaining subledger of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Processing of journal entries with respect to (monthly/quarterly) closing process
- Analyzing balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
- Processing periodic tax declarations (mainly VAT)
- Preparing annual financial statements and compiling financial reports (medior and senior levels)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Professional proficiency in English
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in an accounting agency
- Knowledge of GAAP: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (external reporting)
