We are seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team, based in Naperville, Illinois. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. This role will involve tasks such as processing payroll, reviewing journal entries, preparing financial reports, and conducting account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing of weekly payroll
• Participate in the preparation and review of journal entries, reclassifications, allocations, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly financial close process
• Conduct analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Engage in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Complete ad-hoc financial and management reporting, including commercial insurance documentation and other related statistical information
• Act as a liaison with external auditors and detail-oriented advisors
• Prepare audit paperwork, providing documentation and explanations as outlined in procedures
• Participate in the consolidation of financial statements
• Conduct cost roll-up procedures
• Oversee accounts receivable collection.

• Applicant must hold a minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in Account Coding is a must for this position.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat effectively is a significant requirement.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Dynamics NAV is necessary.

• Understanding and practical application of ERP Solutions is essential.

• Skills in Account Analysis are required for this role.

• Proven ability to execute Accounting Entries is a key requirement.

• Experience in performing Accounting Functions is needed.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation tasks is essential.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a significant requirement.
