Production Manager

Direct Hire Position

Perth Amboy, NJ area

Pay is dependent on experience.

Job Summary:

Plans, manages and directs the work of production personnel. Ensures cost effective, quality production of product according to standards.

Required Skills

Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent

2 plus years’ experience out of a food, preferably baked goods, manufacturing company and at least 1 of those years managing a shift or team

Understanding of food safety and sanitation as it relates to production

Ability to Overses daily operations and monitors production supervisors.

Knowledge of how to ensure cost effective, quality production of products.

Prior experience supporting a team in achieving compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA, etc.).
